The DimLux Maxi Controller can control 160 DimLuxes at once. A switchboard, time delay units and relays are no longer needed, the DimLuxes can be plugged directly into the socket. Just set the on and off time and the set is ready to run. You can set the desired brightness using the + and – keys. The Maxi Controller can also work with asynchronous times, for example, 10 hours on and 10 hours off; this setting shortens the process by almost 20%! Sunrise and sunset can also be simulated. By using a Nanotube the air can be extracted in parallel from the fixture, the lamp will always maintain the ideal temperature in order to maximize efficiency and life span. It is possible to achieve 20% lumens boost, this is only possible if the lamp is actively cooled.
SINGLE BOUNCE CLEAR SIGHT FOR MORE LIGHT
SBCS is for single bounce clear sight. This means that the lights can only hit the reflector 1 time before the light leaves the reflector. The light can’t reflect back into the lamp as well. Result > more usable light and less heat development.
ADD-ON AND ADJUSTABLE SIDE REFLECTORS
Light that shines on paths or walls is a nett loss of light. To compensate for light loss, the reflector is adjustable into 2 positions. An extra ADD-ON reflector can also be placed by which even less light gets lost.
LESS HEAT
The convection-heat that is generated by the lamp goes up in the reflector. The reflector contains 50mm openings through which the heat can escape. Result > an improved thermoregulation resulting in a better lamp temperature.
OPTIMAL AIRFLOW
The heat can escape from the reflector both passively (chimney effect) and actively. By active extraction with a ventilator at the 50mm round opening, the room temperature can significantly be reduced. The heat is extracted at the source, which is more efficient than cooling.
